Hey guys! Sorry this feature is late again! It's been a very hectic and exhausting week. Buuuttt let's get down to business.
For this Watch Wednesday, we are featuring somethingzenzen! This (I'm hoping) girl has an incredible view of the world, and is able to capture that view with perfection in her photography and writing. She is one of the few people I've come across that not only knows what Haiga and Tanka art even is, but she produces incredible pieces herself. If you take a quick browse through her gallery, you will see that she doesn't keep herself confined to one style of any artform, but rather she explores them all and produces incredible works of art in each form she explores!
If you would like to see her stuff, go to:

And just so you guys know, not only will Friends Friday be late this week, but all of my photo challenges are also (obviously) going to be late. As I said it has been a very hectic week and exhausting week. Renny K and I are going camping this weekend. YAY! VACATION FINALLY! So I'm sorry if replies and what-not take a bit over the next few days. Enjoy!

Her Dancein the yard
the tall green grasses dance
keeping time together
swaying slowly to the rhythm of the wind
but one small blade
standing stunted and alone
throws up her arms and says
no
her rhythm is her own
unchoreographed
uninhibited
side back down forth slow up fast to side she moves
she is seized by her love for the wind
and the sky and the hard-packed earth in which she is rooted
her dance is not
the dance of the ages
her dance is
the dance of the dervish
she will let the bigger grasses sway
and though they may grow tall
and though they may grow closer to the sun
it is she who is filled to the brim with light

Thanks, features, updates, all kinds of amazing
It's been quite some time since the last one of these, so I'm going to just jump straight into it!
FEATURES!
SebKaiser
Based in Belgium, Seb has had some extensive travels throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, America, and the Tropics. Through his journeys he has developed an amazing eye for lighting, with much of his work having dramatic yet subtle lighting. A lot of his fisheye work is very symmetrical and pleasing to the eye. This is definitely a photographer worth checking out!
Claudio Costa (Claudio51)
A digital hobbyist and abstract artist, Claudio produces many mind bending works that focus much on spheres. His play on light a
Thank yous, features, and all kinds of awesome!
Ello! It has definitely been a while since I've done one of these. So... here we go!I have a bunch of artists on deviantART whose work has absolutely amazed me! That being said, we shall start with artist features!
Artist FeaturesThe KayasenThe first artist being featured in this journal is TheKayesen! This artist's use of paper and pencil, ink and imagination creates works of art so mind-bending and detailed that it's hard to put any words to! With "work in progress" updates, their work is fun to watch develop and come to life.
Natalia DrepinaThe next artist feature is Natalia Drepina! This artist makes right proper use of the human form t
Ahhhhh........ crap...
So... I have been looking for a job. The place I was working at shut down about a month ago, and yea.... having some trouble keeping up with the bills. So the job search and trying to make money has kept me from editing or uploading a lot of the stuff I've done over the past month.
That being said, I'm about to have a TON of stuff going up over the next few days, so I apologize ahead of time to my watchers. lol
Once that's all said and done, I'm thinking it's getting to be about tie for another huge artist feature and maybe... just maybe... a project announcement or two. lol
So.... what's everyone else been up to?
Senior portraits-Any advice?
Hey guys!
I'm doing senior portraits tomorrow for a family friend. I've done wedding shoots, general portrait photography, plus all the stuff on here. That being said, this will be my first time shooting senior pictures.
We are going to be shooting outdoors, likely in the evening when the the sunlight is good and we get a bit of cloud cover.
So that being said... anyone have any advice? lol I know it's not much different from other types of portraits but I like to be as prepared as possible.
